Assistance to Firefighters Grant Application Period NOW OPEN!

Application Deadline: February 10, 2023

Each year, the US Department of Homeland Security awards millions of dollars in grant funding to fire and EMS departments throughout the United States. The 2022 AFG application period is now open, and Ward Diesel would like to remind you that this money is available to departments such as yours.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

Apply for vehicle mounted exhaust systems, a High Priority item in the Operations and Safety – Equipment category, to help protect your personnel from the harmful effects of diesel exhaust.

The NO SMOKE System

The Ward Diesel NO SMOKE system is a direct source capture system that meets and exceeds OSHA, NIOSH, and NFPA recommendations for diesel exhaust removal from your working environment. The system works automatically, removing exhaust whenever you leave and re-enter the station. Because it is apparatus-mounted, NO SMOKE goes wherever the vehicle goes, and including on-scene.

Thousands of NO SMOKE systems have been installed using AFG Program funding. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to apply for AFG funding so you too may join the growing network of departments who have protected their personnel with NO SMOKE exhaust removal systems.

Join the growing list of departments that have received a grant and decided to protect their personnel with NO SMOKE!
