The NO SMOKE system is mounted to the firetruck apparatus and directly filters harmful diesel exhaust particulates automatically to protect firefighters and fire emergency responders at the fire department and on-scene of a fire. For fire vehicles from 2007, 2010, and newer, Ward Diesel has a specialty NO SMOKE2 exhaust filter system and they have also developed a NO SMOKE GAS exhaust filter system designed for gasoline engines that emit higher levels of harmful particulates.
